Renner Post 307’S Sixth Inning Charge Helps Upend Sioux Falls Post 15 West, 4-3

Renner Post 307 took the lead in the sixth inning, and Sioux Falls Post 15 West was unable to muster a comeback, losing 4-3 on Wednesday.
Louis Peterson shut down Renner Post 307 while he was on the mound. Peterson held Renner Post 307 hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.
Renner Post 307 was sparked by Josh Tornow and Tommy Dougherty, who teamed up for four hits and four RBIs.
Connor Hurley was charged with the loss. He lasted just 7 1/3 innings, walked four, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
Renner Post 307 never surrendered the lead after the sixth inning, scoring four runs on a two-run double by Tornow and a two-run single by Dougherty.
After pushing across one run in the bottom of the seventh, Sioux Falls Post 15 West faced just a 4-3 deficit. An RBI single by Kyle Gulbrandson triggered Sioux Falls Post 15 West’s comeback. Spencer Koelewyn ended the inning by getting Chandlar Austin to strike out.
