Justin Aldrich Throws No-Hitter As Sioux Falls Post 15 West Defeats Harrisburg (SD) 8-0

Wednesday was a day Justin Aldrich will set aside for the scrapbook as Aldrich threw a no-hitter in Sioux Falls Post 15 West’s 8-0 victory over Harrisburg .
No Harrisburg (SD) batter was able to locate Aldrich’s pitches during the game. Aldrich threw a no-hitter, striking out nine batters and walking one while recording his momentous feat. He got Zach Lanier to ground out for the final out of the game.
Five runs in the first three innings helped Sioux Falls Post 15 West blow out Harrisburg . An RBI double by Hunter Thompson and a groundout by Connor Hurley during the second inning supplied the early offense for Sioux Falls Post 15 West.
Aldrich went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for Sioux Falls Post 15 West. He singled in the third, fifth, and sixth innings.
Sioux Falls Post 15 West increased its lead with three runs in the third. A sacrifice fly scored Jalen Boyd to start the scoring in the inning.
Sioux Falls Post 15 West added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth. The inning got off to a hot start when Austin Wise singled, scoring Boyd. That was followed up by Aldrich’s single, bringing home Isaac Nelsen.
