Sioux Falls Post 15 West Drops 16-4 Game To Watertown (SD)

Despite a big day at the dish from Justin Aldrich, who finished 3-4, Sioux Falls Post 15 West lost 16-4 to Watertown at Harmodon one on Thursday.

Watertown easily handled Sioux Falls Post 15 West pitching as six hitters combined for 12 hits, 13 RBIs and 11 runs scored.

6’6″ Lefty took the loss for Sioux Falls Post 15 West. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked three and struck out six.

The top of the first saw Watertown take an early lead, 2-0. A double by Trey Schmidt, scoringTyler Fairchild and Alex Gauer started the inning off.

It didn’t take long for Sioux Falls Post 15 West to respond as it scored two runs of its own in the first. Sioux Falls Post 15 West scored on an RBI single by Isaac Nelsen and an RBI double by Aldrich.

The game was never in doubt after the fifth, as Watertown scored three runs on two singles.

Watertown tacked on another nine runs in the sixth. The inning got off to a hot start when Schmidt singled, bringing home Brennan Gabriel. That was followed up by Ben Deville‘s single, plating Gauer.
